Introduction Technology seems to change on a daily basis. You cannot walk through an airport, shopping mall or even a local park without seeing people enjoying listening to their favorite music. Technology has allowed us to be able to take our entire music collections with us wherever we go. The big question is are you hearing everything there is to hear? Two things stand between you and your music; the portable music player you choose and your earphones. Since the portable audio revolution began with the Sony Walkman it seems every music player comes with a set of earphones. I have my own special collection of headphones, earphones, earbuds, etc. that have been included with the players I have used over the years. In most instances the included earphones do provide a nice solution. I had recently purchased a Microsoft Zune media player and really wanted to get some good earphones to use with it. The Zune also can playback video as well so I wanted something to give me a full range of sound as well as provide some noise isolation especially on planes. My search had begun. |
