My mother was a very special lady. I know that without her love and prayers my life would be a different story today.

She accepted the Lord at around age 15. Those around immediately saw a transformation and her life began to transform others through the power of what the Lord had done in her life.

I remember her always taking my younger brother and me into the closet and praying there. I guess she took the scripture litterally where Jesus said when you pray enter into your closet.

That was just who Mom was...a warrior, not on some battlefield overseas but on the battlefield for the souls of those she loved She faught the hardest battles while on her knees. For hours every day she would call out the names of her children, her brothers and sisters and the numerous others whom she loved and cared about.

She had such unconditional love and would go beyond herself to try and counsel and help those who were stuggling.

She showed us all to hold to God's unchanging hand and to always call on Him whenever we were in trouble. She praised Him and loved Him in both the good times and the bad.

A warrior, friend, wife, counselor, yes she was all of these but more than anything she was my mother who pointed me to follow after Jesus.

Mom, I will see you in the morning.
